Before selecting a roofing contractor, make sure:
1. The proposals/contracts are clear on the scope of work, check work that is being excluded!!!
2. The company has a valid California C 39 roofing license and a city license.
3. The company has proof of liability and workman's compensation insurance.
4. The company gets a re-roof permit from the city.
5. The company is an approved applicator of the system being installed.
6. The company gives you a material and labor release before you pay your bill.
7. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER pay in advance or give a deposit.
